How to organize links into folders

Learn how to use folders to easily organize and categorize your links in a convenient way.

In this article:

Webtop.com is using folders to categorize your links in a convenient way. You should have at least one link to start categorizing it into folders
This option is available if you enabled the Organize&Search feature package

Let's create a new folder before starting categorizing the links:

1) Open the Webtop.com app  

2) Select a desktop -> navigate to the Links

3) If you enabled Organize&Search + Communiction feature packages, first navigate to the Desktops -> select a desktop.

4) Click the "Add folder" button inside the Links section

5) Alternatively (if you do not have links added to your desktop), click the "+Add content" button -> select "Create links folder" in the drop-down menu

6) Enter the folder's name -> click the "Create" button

7) You can add subfolders and, therefore, create additional five layers of link folders. To start creating subfolders, click the folder

8) Click the "Add folder" button inside this folder. Enter the folder's name -> click the "Create" button

9) If you need to go back to the main folder, click the "Home" button

How to categorize links into folders:

1) Right-click on the link (alternatively, you can click the 3 dots button) ->select "Move to" option in the drop-down menu. Then you can either select from the existing folders or create a new one.

How to organize links into categories  on a mobile device

1) Open the Webtop.com app

2) Tap the "Expand" menu button

3) Select the desktop you want to work with

4) If you enabled Organize&Search + Communiction feature packages, first navigate to the Desktops -> select a desktop.

5) Switch to the Links

6) Tap the "+Add" button -> select "Create links folder" option in the drop-down menu

7) Enter folder's name ->click the "Create" button

8) You can add subfolders and, therefore, create nested folders. Tap the folder

9) Tap the "+Add" button -> select "Create links folder" in the drop-down menu

10) Enter subfolder's name -> tap the "Create" button.

   How to categorize links into folders:

1) Tap the More button on the link

2) Tap the Move to button

3) You can either create a new folder or select from already existing folders

                                        *Here both feature packages are enabled. If you disabled one of them, some options will be unavailable
