How to share passwords

Learn how to manage shared app credentials

In this article:

Workspace owners and administrators can select any app and make it into a shared login app. These apps can be used on any type of desktop, and are visible to all users who are a member of the desktop. Only user with rights to use the shared login may use the shared login. Other users will need to use their own credentials
Before we start, let's learn how to add apps' credentials here
This feature is available in Pro and Enterprise plans
This option is available if you enabled the Organize&Search feature package

How to share passwords:

1) Open your Webtop.com app

2) Start from unlocking your password manager. Navigate to Vault -> enter your Webtop.com account password -> click the Unlock Password Manager button

3) If you enabled Organize&Search, first navigate to Desktops -> Vault -> unlock your Password Manager

4) Select the credentials you would like to share -> click the Share button

5) Click the arrow button and select a teammate (or several teammates) from the drop-down list

6) After you've selected teammates, click the Share button

7) Now you will see which users is the password shared with

8) If you need to stop sharing passwords, click the Share button again -> click the Remove button

9) Click Confirm button to complete this action

How to share passwords on a mobile device:

1) Open your Webtop.com app

2) Tap the Expand menu button

3) Start from unlocking your password manager. Navigate to Vault

4) If you enabled Organize&Search + Communication packages, navigate to Desktops -> navigate to Vault

5) Unlock your password manager by entering your Webtop.com account password.

6) Tap the 3 dots button -> select Share option

7) Tap the Arrow button and select users you would like to share credentials from the list

8) Tap the Share button when you are ready

9) To stop sharing passwords, tap the Share button again and remove the user.
